Processes
A typical survey works as follows: -
1. Sample selection
- Entertainment Media Research has recruited a filtered and graded database of over 500,000 respondents
- The database is continuously refreshed through recruitment from multiple sources
- Samples are created from carefully profiled and weighted panels to ensure statistical validity
- Demographic, geographic, cross-purchasing, consumer preference and other profile data is used to screen and select panel members
- Panel members are invited by email to participate in a research study
2. Fieldwork
- A brief is received from the client and an appropriate methodology is agreed
- A customised questionnaire is developed which is approved by the client before fieldwork starts
- We encode and upload the media to our secure server
- Embedded technology prevents media being saved on the respondent’s computer
- Panel members respond to the email research invitation at their leisure
- The media is streamed securely on a randomised basis to eliminate order bias
- Results are collated and presented in real-time using numerous report functions
3. Client debrief
- Clients are given full password-protected access to the online reports
- Clients receive a written presentation with key findings and actionable recommendations
